Engineering Careers - Chemical Engineering

Summary: The first step I am on is the Define the Problem in the Design Process. I am doing background research and answering the questions on the blog for the chosen type of engineering (Chemical). I also took notes on a separate blog post (https://engineeringavyavaharkar2026.blogspot.com/2016/08/chemical-engineering.html). I am still taking notes and answering questions that we have written down in our notebooks in class.

Summary:  During this week, we were told to make our arrangement of the Engineering Design Process that would be used for the rest of the school year and for future projects in our Engineering class. I learned that the Engineering Design Process didn't have to be in a specific order.  Backward-Looking: What process did you go through to produce this piece?   The process that I had to go through in order to produce this piece was first to identify the steps of the EDP in a video. Weekly Blog Post - Asteroid Impact in "Alabraska"

Summary:  During this week, I worked on a few worksheets for our Asteroid Impact which was in the imaginary state of Alabraska. When we did this, I calculated the general area for Alabraska, in which the length was 150 km and the width was 230 km, giving me a sum of 34,500 km 2 . After that, I compared the size of Alabraska to the size of the multiple caverns my group and I decided to establish underneath the surface of Alabraska. After that, I scaled my general map of Alabraska, including the military base, and then decided that our cavern was not large enough to house 10 million people. EDP - Generate Possible Solutions Over the course of the week, I generated possible solutions by completing a worksheet and making graphs to figure out how many people would be able to fit into our classroom. Summary:  I am on Make and Test a Model (" detailed technical  drawings prototype or scale model mathematical and computer models performance and user tests ").
