Board Game - Project Blog Post
Summary: This project was when we had to create a board game in the hopes of being able to think like an engineer. We had to come up with a design for our board game and make sure it was fun for everybody. 
Backward-Looking: How much did you know about the subject before we started? I knew what made a board game fun, but I'd never really thought about the key components to making a board game in the first place. 

Inward-Looking: How do you feel about this piece of work? What parts of it do you particularly like/dislike? Why? What did/do you enjoy about this piece/work? I was very proud about this piece of work-- I felt like it truly expressed how I am as a creator of such board games and as a designer. The parts that I liked about the board game were all the designs in general-- I liked the structure of the board and the design of the cards (though I felt the design of the box itself was a bit too basic). I can't say I disliked anything because it was so much fun designing the board game.

Outward-Looking: If someone else were looking at the piece, what might they learn about who you are? If someone else was looking at our finished piece, they'd learn that I am very artistic and prefer projects that involve drawing of some sort.

Forward-Looking: What would you like to spend more time on in school? I would like to spend more time on photo editing. I would also like to explore more branches of science, such as toxicology.

Summary:  During this week, we were told to make our arrangement of the Engineering Design Process that would be used for the rest of the school year and for future projects in our Engineering class. I learned that the Engineering Design Process didn't have to be in a specific order.  Backward-Looking: What process did you go through to produce this piece?   The process that I had to go through in order to produce this piece was first to identify the steps of the EDP in a video. Weekly Blog Post - Asteroid Impact in "Alabraska"

Summary:  During this week, I worked on a few worksheets for our Asteroid Impact which was in the imaginary state of Alabraska. When we did this, I calculated the general area for Alabraska, in which the length was 150 km and the width was 230 km, giving me a sum of 34,500 km 2 . After that, I compared the size of Alabraska to the size of the multiple caverns my group and I decided to establish underneath the surface of Alabraska. After that, I scaled my general map of Alabraska, including the military base, and then decided that our cavern was not large enough to house 10 million people. EDP - Generate Possible Solutions Over the course of the week, I generated possible solutions by completing a worksheet and making graphs to figure out how many people would be able to fit into our classroom. Engineering Careers - Chemical Engineering Hat Project

Summary:  I am on Make and Test a Model (" detailed technical  drawings prototype or scale model mathematical and computer models performance and user tests "). During the week, I researched and found answers to the questions I had put down in my notes (See: ADV Engineering: Chemical Engineering ).
