Weekly Blog (10|14|16) - Reverse Engineering - Manual

Summary: During this week, our class was assigned a project from last week - a Simple Machine. However, when that project was finished, we reverted back to our Reverse Engineering project. Since we got a 25/50 score on our Manual, each and every one of us in our team had to ask our teacher for a regrade. I wasn't sure how - other teachers have us ask for regrades differently. Then I learned that in order to request a regrade, we had to state was we did wrong. I also learned that "regrades are not automatic for all members of the team". 

 Step of the EDP: I am currently on the Modify and Improve Design of the EDP - fix problems, improve design, do more testing if needed, and finally, worst case - scrap design.

Summary:  During this week, we were told to make our arrangement of the Engineering Design Process that would be used for the rest of the school year and for future projects in our Engineering class. Weekly Blog Post - Asteroid Impact in "Alabraska"

Summary:  During this week, I worked on a few worksheets for our Asteroid Impact which was in the imaginary state of Alabraska. When we did this, I calculated the general area for Alabraska, in which the length was 150 km and the width was 230 km, giving me a sum of 34,500 km 2 . After that, I compared the size of Alabraska to the size of the multiple caverns my group and I decided to establish underneath the surface of Alabraska. After that, I scaled my general map of Alabraska, including the military base, and then decided that our cavern was not large enough to house 10 million people. EDP - Generate Possible Solutions Over the course of the week, I generated possible solutions by completing a worksheet and making graphs to figure out how many people would be able to fit into our classroom. Engineering Careers - Chemical Engineering Hat Project

Summary:  I am on Make and Test a Model (" detailed technical  drawings prototype or scale model mathematical and computer models performance and user tests ").
